Anthony Joshua is a name synonymous with boxing throughout the world. However, the heavyweight champion has often shown an interest in other sports as well. Born and raised in London, Joshua grew up with a love for soccer and has spoken highly of the game on previous occasions. Joshua is on record for saying that his favorite footballer is Cristiano Ronaldo. The famous athlete has even met ‘AJ   on a couple of occasions and they seem to respect each other. Consequently, Joshua claimed that his favorite team is Real Madrid. However, this was back when the Portuguese star was playing for ‘Los Blancos’.

So he may no longer support Real Madrid and probably supports Juventus now. Despite this, Watford FC will always be close to his heart and he will always involve himself with the club. Furthermore, his friendship with the club captain goes beyond the football club.

Therefore, despite being one of the most famous boxers in the world, Anthony Joshua has always been a football fanatic as well. And there is even footage of him playing football. Although, as you can expect, he’s not the best footballer.
