The other video game that you can get Anthony Joshua in is FIFA 21. That’s right. If you ever wondered how a heavyweight boxer would play soccer, EA has got you covered. It was announced that the latest version of the game would feature Joshua as a player in the VOLTA series- a 5-a-side format within the game. However, we’re not sure if ‘AJ’ has the quick feet to cut it at this format of the game.

How did Anthony Joshua get to the point of featuring in video games?

Joshua’s steady rise to the top played a big role in the same. However, his love for different sports arguably played a major role. Joshua has openly voiced his love for soccer, while he is also an ardent follower of the UFC. Thus, it was an easy decision for the game company to try to include him in the games.


Including a personality of Joshua’s caliber not only gives them publicity, but also makes it very interesting for their gamers. We may never get to see Anthony Joshua out on a football pitch or in an MMA octagon, but for now, at least we can see it virtually.
