AnEson Gib Mocks Canelo Alvarez After His Fight with Taylor Holder

It has been a pretty intense week for AnEson Gib, who had a controversial draw against Taylor Holder in the recent ‘YouTube v TikTok’ event. Despite outworking his rival throughout, Gib couldn’t get the win on the fight night and appear vexed with the decision.

However, ISKA Director Tom Sconzo seems to have changed the call, and the YouTuber took this chance to take a dig at the P4P king Canelo Alvarez. While the super middleweight champion had advised Holder on how to knock out Gib, the TikToker failed miserably. Instead, he suffered a lopsided beat down.

So, AnEson Gib turned to social media and claimed that Team Canelo “failed miserably”. He even posted a picture of a video where Alvarez is spotted giving boxing lessons to Taylor Holder. Following his win over Saunders in May, Alvarez met the TikToker in the green room and passed on some valuable advice.

Nevertheless, the in-ring scenario was in Gib’s favor. Following a first-round KO loss to Jake Paul, AnEson Gib laced up the gloves and showcased his best against Taylor Holder. The post-fight stats reflected him to have landed 38 power punches in contrast to Holders’ 16. But the announcers shook the contender and fans, as they didn’t announce any official winner of the fight.

After widespread resentment from the fans, governing body International Sport Karate Association has changed its decision. They have reviewed the fight and have credited YouTuber AnEson Gib as the official winner of the fight. Gib shared the news from his social media, sending several fans into a frenzy.

Several fans and fellow YouTubers like KSI congratulated him for the accolade. Meanwhile, it can urge him to accept more pro fights ahead, further opening the doors to match with Jake Paul. While he is also taking verbal shots at boxers like Canelo Alvarez, it retains Gib’s relevancy in the combat world.

But that doesn’t put him anywhere choose to the professional circuit. The social media star still has some boxing achievements under his name, and it can gain him more stardom in his other activities.
