It has been months since star lightweight Ryan Garcia left the convoy of Canelo Alvarez and his coach Eddy Reynoso. But the separation did not remain an easy one. Since partition the back and forth between the two has dominated the boxing storylines for some time now.

This fallout even caught the attention of the former five weight division champ Floyd Mayweather, who came in support of his former opponent. Similarly, the former unified heavyweight champion, Andy Ruiz Jr, who shared the camp with Garcia and Canelo, has made it more interesting with the recent 4-word remark.

While sharing few moments with the FightHype.com, Ruiz said, “I gotta look for Eddie and Canelo all the way, but I don’t know Ryan. They’re I don’t know they’re all in their own little world, but I mean Ryan doesn’t need nobody. He has his own little team. He got the talent.”

‘The Destroyer’ has fought one bout under the wings of Canelo’s coach after losing the rematch to the British heavyweight Anthony Joshua. As of now, he is gearing up to meet Luis Ortiz. He is most likely to collide with Deontay Wilder’s former opponent on September 4.

According to Canelo, he became a world champion at the age of 20 and his young rival is still struggling for a title shot. In his opinion, Garcia has accomplished nothing yet, so he has no right to target those who have established themselves as elite boxers.
