The 26-year-old boxer lost to the now 9-0 Tommy Fury via split decision in a close fight. Although he will have a chance to avenge his loss due to a rematch clause in their contract, for now, Paul is stuck with this loss under his record.

In a Twitter post, the former kickboxer stated that winning is not always god’s plan for a man. Moreover, it is when a man is defeated and how he handles a loss that tested his true strength mentally as well as physically. “Always winning isn’t the point of God’s battles. The point of God’s battles is so you can show him the strength of your heart when you lose, wrote Tate.

Despite the two being former rivals, it looks like Tate is coming out to give brotherly advice to his fellow influencer. This loss was the first in Jake Paul‘s young boxing career which might be devastating for anybody. However, ‘The Problem Child’ does need to go back to the drawing board and think about how he wants to proceed with his boxing career. On the other hand, Tate will first seek to get himself out of prison and clear all charges against him.
