WBO welterweight title fight between champion Terence Crawford and challenger Shawn Porter can turn into a slugfest when the prime fighters collide on November 20 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Former world champion Andre Ward seems excited about the scrap as he doesn’t envision it going the distance.

Although Crawford and Porter have shown their abilities in full-length contests, Ward doesn’t see the same happening when the two lock horns. In an interaction with FightHype, Ward shared his views on several things surrounding the boxing world. Hence, he couldn’t miss talking about the Crawford vs Porter fight.

Andre Ward said, “I think it’s going to be all of the above. We have seen Shawn box even though he is not known for boxing. We have seen Shawn press forward and brawl. And you know, get into your kitchen. We have seen ‘Bud’ stad there and fighting exchange, trying to get his shots through.

“I don’t see this fight going to the distance. I think about all the scenarios. I can’t see this fight going to the distance.”

Both Crawford and Porter are heavy-handed and are known for stopping their rivals in their tracks. Thus, their best versions can unveil a gruesome scrap, especially with a world title up for grabs. However, undefeated titlist Terence Crawford shall remain the favorite under some valid parameters.

In a career of 37-0, ‘Bud’ is currently on an 8-fight KO-win streak. Meanwhile, Shawn Porter’s 31-3-1 reflects his 6-2 in the last 8 fights. Hence, ‘Bud’ has clearly dwarfed ‘Showtime’ under the particular benchmark. Nevertheless, the upcoming fight can still be a thriller.
