

YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul is famous for his antics and eccentric behavior. However, as ‘The Problem Child’ prepares to face Ben Askren in his third professional bout, fans have seen a different side of the internet sensation.
The internet sensation recently lost his bodyguard, Shamir Bolivar, A.K.A ‘Shadow’ on April 7. And he has now explained what the CEO of Shadow Group Security meant to him.

The 2-0 boxer spoke to the media at the press conference and said, “It’s a shocker to all of us in the team and it has deeply affected us. And it’s hard without him, you know. When you’re with someone every day, live with them… He was a father figure to me in many ways and had my back 24×7.”

This comment from ‘The Problem Child’ showed just how close he was to his security guard. Paul even admitted that he had experienced nothing like this before, and thus, was very emotional when talking about the late bodyguard.

Jake Paul reveals ‘Shadow’’s prediction for the fight
The internet sensation showed how much he valued the presence of ‘Shadow’ around his camp. Moreover, he even spoke about how involved the bodyguard was in his preparations for Ben Askren, and revealed Shadow’s prediction for the fight.
‘The Problem Child’ said, “He predicted a first-round knockout, at 2 minutes and 28 seconds so… for some reason, I think that’s what’s going to happen.”
This comment showed how much confidence the late bodyguard had in Paul’s abilities. Furthermore, it revealed that Paul has an added motivation going into the bout.

Based on his comments and his tone, the internet sensation is clearly going into the bout with a heavy heart because of the loss. However, it could spur Jake Paul to put on a clinic and dedicate the victory to ‘Shadow’. Only time will tell if this loss will spur ‘The Problem Child’ to his third professional win.
