Additionally, Oscar mentioned that navigating the promotional landscape requires a delicate balance between financial considerations and maintaining a positive working relationship with all parties involved. ” The hardest part has been being his promoter. I know what’s best for them and when you have assistants, when you have advisors, when you have lawyers who are talking against us, it sometimes makes it impossible for us to do our job,” said De La Hoya. 

Despite the difficulties, the promoter was happy to receive gratitude from every fighter on the card. He revealed that they appreciated Golden Boy for providing opportunities, organizing events, and handling the intricate details that fighters are not equipped to manage. Recognizing that fighters cannot independently handle negotiations for pay-per-view terms or arena agreements, he is more than pleased to see fighters expressing their appreciation. However, with Garcia, things have gotten from bad to worse for De La Hoya.
