Mike Tyson shed some light on the current scenario regarding his biopic film, starring Jamie Foxx. Interestingly, Foxx is the only actor that Tyson had approved to play him in a movie about his life. Although, there is a Hulu original series’ starring Trevante Rhodes as ‘Iron’ Mike, Tyson revealed that he never gave any permission to the OTT platform to make such a series on his life. So, he denied any involvement with it, but Jamie Foxx’s reiteration of Tyson’s life has been in the works for over a decade now. But it seems that it may get pushed even further. And, It is because of Foxx’s health condition.
Recently, Mike Tyson went on the Valuetainment podcast where he was asked about the condition of Jamie Foxx, and he simply replied, “He’s not feeling well.” And then the host of the show, Patrick Bet-David, asked him for an update on his biopic and if Jamie Foxx still going to play him.

Now, there hasn’t been any official confirmation about Mike Tyson’s biopic with Jamie Foxx, but there have been a lot of conversations regarding this movie. So, firstly Bet-David confirmed whether the film is going to come out or not now that Jamie Foxx is still recovering from a ‘medical emergency’.
Notably, Foxx is out of the hospital, and recently, his daughter put a lid on all the rumors circulating about his family planning for the “worst”.
Tyson said there is a “strong possibility” that Foxx would play him in his biopic as he still believes that the Oscar-winning actor is the right choice for the role. But then, he discussed the issues that need to be dealt with if Jamie’ plays the role in the movie.

Tyson stated, “You know, Jamie is closer to my age. So, in order to do him, they are gonna do what they did with Benjamin Button.”
So, in the movie, ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, Brad Pitt had to play an older version of himself and the younger one as well. To do that, the VFX team used a technique called contour that helped them to digitally insert Pitt’s face into both characters. So Tyson admits that they’ll have to do the same with Foxx’s face if he’s going to play him in the movie.
