Maryum Ali took to her Instagram account early today. She shared the opportunity to travel to Palestine and Israel three years ago. During the well-planned educational tour, their group had a chance to speak with prominent members of communities from both sides and gain insight into the underlying cause of the conflict. So Maryum ‘May May’ Ali was born in Chicago on June 18, 1968. The daughter of Khalilah and Muhammad Ali is a well-known author who dabbled in rap music. The bio page on her website states that she did stand-up comedy for nearly a decade. In 1992, she put out an album of rap music named ‘The Introduction’ that California-based Scottie Bros. Records released. Her credentials include a bachelor’s degree in social work with manga cum laude. Later, she worked in different capacities at the Los Angeles Mayor’s office. The experience gave her expertise in juvenile delinquency prevention and adolescent development.
As a keynote speaker, Maryum Ali travels the country, delivering talks to organizations focusing on social and human services. Not in the least, frequently, she speaks about her legendary father’s experience with Parkinson’s illness. She also authored ‘Shook Up the World: The Incredible Life of Muhammad Ali.’
