The Saudis just dropped the hardest boxing trailer ever created in the history of the sport. And the boxing world is losing their minds over it. Former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is about to lock horns with former undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk on December 21st at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The duo originally squared off against each other back in May, producing one of the greatest 12 rounds fans have witnessed in the recent past. However, as the pair prepares for their rematch, the new trailer for the fight has found its way onto social media, stunning the public with its creativity, VFX, and storytelling.

Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury: Unfinished Business
Earlier today, ‘The Cat’ took to Instagram to share the trailer in question, captioning the post, “The time is almost here. See you in Riyadh, Tyson Fury.” The accompanying trailer depicted the aftermath of their first fight, highlighting the unresolved tension and unfinished business between the two boxers.

The trailer effectively captured the lingering trauma and the burning desire for closure that both fighters seem to crave. It portrayed a haunting narrative, with each boxer seeing the other’s face in everyone they encountered—a constant reminder of the monumental task that lies ahead. Surprisingly, even Fury’s father, John Fury, made an appearance.
Needless to say with a narrative like that—people absolutely loved the trailer, as they shared their thoughts about it in the comments of the post.

John Fury catches a stray insult
Everything about the first fight was absolutely spectacular, and it seems the Saudis are pulling out all the stops for their rematch as well. One user expressed admiration for the trailer’s production quality and praised the effort that went into creating such a masterpiece by comparing it to what American promoters do. “Putting the American boxing companies to shame YIKES,” the user wrote. A trailer for a boxing match is often an afterthought, as promoters in the US tend to rely more on the star power of the boxers themselves.
Another user praised a particular element of the trailer. “Body horror in trends. Really cool promo. Can’t wait to see this legendary fight,” the user commented. This surreal imagery reached its peak near the end, where Usyk’s face appeared to be on Fury’s own belly, adding an eerie, almost symbolic touch to the trailer.

Someone else simply expressed their admiration. “The best promo I’ve ever seen,” the user wrote. Notably, the Saudis have been producing trailers for most of their events, something promoters in the States can learn a lesson from. It has the potential to attract more casual eyes to the sport—but that would take spending more money.

Meanwhile, this user didn’t seem all too pleased to see John Fury in the trailer. “Brilliant just could have done without John Fury cameo,” the user wrote. In the build-up of the last fight, John Fury had actually headbutted someone from Usyk’s corner, which ended in him bleeding from his forehead—something similar has been depicted in the trailer.

Another user was so impressed with the trailer that they described it as being, “Bro, it’s out of this world.” Such high production quality is typically reserved for big-budget movies, making this trailer a groundbreaking first for the boxing world.
That said, it appears the trailer for the Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury rematch has done its job perfectly. All that is left is for the boxers to enter the ring on December 21st. What did you think about the trailer? Who do you think will win?
