Recently, Gervonta Davis was arrested following a charge of domestic violence against him. A woman, who identified herself as the mother of Davis’ child and earlier called the police against him, has now come out stating that she ‘made an unnecessary call to law enforcement‘ while running into an argument with her partner Davis. In an Instagram post, the woman addressed the ‘hurtful‘ and ‘extremely exhausting‘ past few days experienced by both parties.

In addition, she referred to the fragile space that their relationship was occupying. She admitted to being ‘frantic’ and cleared that neither she nor their daughter was actually harmed by Davis.

“Gervonta did not harm me or our daughter. Today, we have sought the help necessary to move forward with our lives. I am confident that we will succeed with our co-parenting dynamic, with the counselling provided to us,” she concluded.

Reddit reacts to the woman stating that Gervonta Davis is not guilty

The post eventually made its way to Reddit and several users have interacted with it. According to one user, both the woman and Davis need to stay away from one another and forfeit this relationship.

However, one said that although the woman had the chance to benefit from portraying Davis as guilty, she told the truth and therefore her actions are now praiseworthy.

Someone pointed out that had she been really inclined towards Davis, she would have never set him out in this manner in public.

Meanwhile, one added by saying the following:

After the win against Rolly, ‘Tank’ will make his return against Garcia in 2023. Following the charges against him, ‘Tank’ stated that he isn’t a ‘monster‘ and would never hurt his child. In a statement, he claimed that he did not harm his child’s mother or their baby.
