Jake Paul isn’t just focused on becoming a serious boxer—he’s building a serious promotional empire, too. In a move that underscores his ambition, ‘The Problem Child’ and his Most Valuable Promotions have just signed undisputed super featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner, one of the most popular women boxers in the world. With ‘The Bomb’ now officially part of the MVP roster alongside women’s boxing star Amanda Serrano, Paul’s vision for the company is taking shape in a big way.
MVP announced the news on Instagram with a video, noting, “Ready to go to war for boxing and the fighters that join us. We lead and others follow. Please join me in welcoming the Undisputed Champion, Alycia Baumgardner, to MVP…THE MOST VALUABLE.” Meanwhile, Baumgardner also released a statement on X about her new partnership. “Proud to announce I’ve officially signed with MVP! Ready to make history, break barriers, and keep proving why I’m the undisputed queen at 130 lbs,” Baumgardner wrote on X. Even Serrano had joined the celebrations with a short post on the platform, writing, “It’s our time to SHINE! We’re Laughing all the way to the Bank!”
While Serrano seemed happy to welcome ‘The Bomb’ in the promotion, it appears there’s some trouble in paradise. Since the announcement, Serrano, who is slated to fight undisputed super lightweight champion Katie Taylor in a rubber match at the Madison Square Garden in New York on an all-female card, has clarified her stance on being sidelined in the company after Baumgardner’s entry.

This came after one fan on X speculated Serrano was destined to this fate. “Lol not true,” Serrano responded on X. “We are a solid team & my place is established. It’s time for others to make what I’ve made. I can’t do this forever!” Serrano claimed that she would help build the company to accommodate women, who can achieve even bigger milestones than her.
“My blessings are mine & everyone of these ladies will have theirs. Rightfully so,” Serrano concluded. In the meantime, Jake Paul and his business partner have released a joint statement on Baumgardner’s signing.

Jake Paul & Nakisa Bidarian on having both Amanda Serrano and Alycia Baumgardner
Despite Paul’s brilliant marketing strategy, his company largely had only two big names in their roster—Jake Paul and Amanda Serrano. With Baumbgardner’s entry, more female boxers could be motivated to join their ranks. And Paul and Bidarian know that quite well, so they quickly released a joint statement after the news broke.
