In 2021, Stevenson got engaged to Young Lyric in a very special way. Securing his victory, Stevenson emerged triumphant over Oscar Valdez in a unanimous decision. Commanding the match from the start, he showcased his dominance before a spirited crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Additionally, he even sent Valdez to the canvas in the sixth round.
