The highly anticipated tussle between Amir Khan and Kell Brook is coming closer than ever. The duo trash-talked for almost a year and ended up challenging each other to a 12-round war. Despite this fight having faced many roadblocks, they are now in contention to box each other on February 19.

This fight will come to life at the Manchester Arena, and both the Brits will look to put on a show for their hardcore supporters.

Recently, Sky Sports Boxing caught up with Amir Khan found out about his diet regimes for this fight. They uploaded a video of ‘King Khan’ enjoying his meal, while his chef gave some insights on his diet.

When asked about Khan’s diet, his chef, Natalina M.Okafor, responded, “We have a pan-seared salmon is six ounces like we discussed earlier, loaded up with a lots of vegetables we threw some corn this time for the carbs, but we also have first carbs, is we also have a king while brown rice and lentil medley.”

“And he gets citrus water with all of his meals because you know it’s a natural alkaline helps him regulate his sugars.”

“And then he have a ‘pm snack’. And like I mentioned before the snack is just depends on what he’s doing that next day in terms of training, so we could stay here and make sure that he has his energy levels are on a good restoration level so he can, you know, keep up,” she added.

Amir Khan and Kell Brook are among the top rivals of the modern boxing era. As their careers are at a similar standpoint, their collision is a must-win bout to keep them relevant. Given that Brook fought for a title in his last outing, Khan would know that a win will see him in with a shout of facing the likes of Crawford, or Spence Jr. Meanwhile, ‘Special K’ will also have the same thought in mind.

However, only one among the two will emerge victorious on February 19. It’ll be interesting to see if Khan’s diet helps him attain his best shape for the fight.
