The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson mega fight might be a few days away, but ‘The Problem Child’ has already started dropping hints about what he is wearing for the biggest night of his career. And get this—according to the 27-year-old, it set him back a whopping $1 million. The duo will go toe-to-toe Friday night at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. 

The Netflix exclusive bout will see ‘Iron’ Mike return to the ring four years after his exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr and nearly two decades since his last professional fight. Needless to say, it’s going to be a big deal for boxing fans everywhere. So, to make the moment live up to all the hype that has been created surrounding it, Paul seems to have prepared something extra special. 

But before getting into what Paul said, let’s look at what the ‘The Problem Child’ did in his last bout, which was against former UFC fighter Mike Perry. The pair clashed in the squared circle after Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up during a cross-country flight, resulting in their fight getting pushed back to November.

Regardless, before the 27-year-old dropped ‘Platinum’ Perry in rounds one, two, and six to clinch a technical knockout victory, Jake Paul strutted to the ring in a gladiator outfit while ‘Feathered Serpent (Savej Remix)’ by Poranguí & Liquid Bloom played throughout the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. 

And that was for a last-minute replacement fight, so just imagine what Paul is planning for his career-defining bout against Mike Tyson. While appearing in the latest episode of Talk Tuah with Haliey Welch podcast, Paul was asked for guesses about his ring walk outfit. Paul revealed that he’s acquired the most expensive outfit in boxing history.

“Yeah, this outfit that I’ve made for the fight is the most expensive fight outfit in the history of boxing. It’s one million dollars. So, it costs a pretty penny and it’s very shiny. That’s the hints I will give. For the walkout, I’m going to be driving in a certain vehicle to the ring,” Paul said in the podcast. 

With that said, there’s one final detail left about Paul’s ring walk: his choice of walkout song.

In Paul’s short but glorious 11 professional fights boxing career, the YouTube star has used a plethora of songs to walk out to the ring. From ‘Last Goodbye’ by Eric Kinny and Danica Dora to ‘All My Life,’ accompanied by rapper Lil Durk, the Cleveland native has always one-upped himself. So, there’s quite the buzz around his next choice for ring walk music. During his appearance in the Talk Tuah podcast, he also shared a hint about what people can expect to hear on Friday Night. 

Spoiler Alert: The song has something to do with Mike Tyson. “The song is sort of related to Mike Tyson’s career in a film that he did,” Paul said. Interestingly, back in 2020, Paul walked out to his own track, ‘Park South Freestyle,’ for his fight against Nate Robinson, a song whose official music video featured Tyson himself. Also, that fight took place on the undercard of the Tyson vs. Jones Jr. exhibition bout.
