Wishful thinking for Terence Crawford fans
On Sunday, Bud received one of the loudest ovations at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, during WrestleMania 41’s second night. Glaser, witnessing the moment, took to his ‘X’, proclaiming the Omaha native’s renewed star power. “Terence Crawford at Wrestlemania in Vegas last night got a huge ovation. Crawford has transitioned into a Star,” Glaser, a long-time supporter of Terence Crawford, emphasized. “If Crawford beats Canelo, which I think he will, Crawford becomes that Star American Boxing needs,” he proclaimed, indicating the trouble waiting in the wings for the Mexican star.

The boxing insider fueled Bud’s fans’ fantasy even further, painting a vivid picture of the former two-division undisputed champion’s future. “All as Bud exits left, retires after giving Canelo a contracted rematch. Yes, Terence Crawford goes off into the Sunset, undefeated. And there won’t be any comebacks for a very intelligent Terence Crawford,” he predicted.
However, he immediately shattered all those dreams and added, “Enjoy your Monday!” – a reminder that, as of now, this is just wishful thinking for all Crawford fans. The result remains uncertain, and should Canelo Alvarez triumph, Crawford’s legacy will undoubtedly be held under scrutiny.
However, Rick Glaser still considers the 41-0 fighter as the clear frontrunner in this clash. Furthermore, with whispers of Canelo Alvarez’s camp being breached, we can see the impossible happening.

A mole in Canelo Alvarez’s camp
Recently, 18-0 boxer Dominique Crowder of Baltimore appeared in an interview with Fight Hype to share his two cents on the bout. However, he dropped a bombshell when he spilled the beans regarding Canelo’s camp. According to Crowder, he has a friend in the Mexicans’ camp, who is informing him about his training. “He(Crawford) can box. Canelo’s slow on his feet,” Crowder revealed.
“I actually got one of my friends in camp with Canelo right now. So I know Canelo’s slow on his feet. Crawford [is] real good on his feet. He [can] outbox him,” he explained with a grin on his face. Despite the knowledge, Crowder knows Canelo Alvarez is no easy fight.

The former undisputed super middleweight champion has defeated many quick fighters in his glorious career, and with his destructive power and superior counter-punching abilities, one decisive punch can level the battlefield. “But how long he could do that for until Canelo catch[s] up with him. You got 12 rounds. It’s like you [are a] tree and he [is] chopping at you until he catch up with you,” Dominique Crowder concluded.
Well, there you have it. No one is counting out Terence Crawford yet. But the possibility of him falling to Canelo Alvarez is a scenario too grim for fans to entertain. What do you think? Will Canelo’s camp chaos pave the way for Crawford to get his dream send-off?
