As Tyson, 58, and Paul, 27, stood across from each other in November, they came in with an understanding of the modified rules and used heavier 14-ounce gloves. Unfortunately, ‘Iron Mike’ lost the fight on the judges’ scorecard—80-72, 79-73×2. By the end of Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson, several fans left AT&T Stadium. Yes, it was a lackluster fight, but some boxing fans simply didn’t want to see the veteran lose.
While fans could only see a shadow of the former world champion used to be, HE Turki Alalshikh still has faith in the veteran and wants to see him win. He also has an idea in mind.
‘FTTV Boxing’ reported, “Turki Alalshikh offers Mike Tyson $700 million to fight Jake Paul and win by 3-minute KO in a rematch. stating “Jake Paul is a joke. I am giving Mike Tyson $700 million if he agrees to fight Jake Paul this time in a real fight and wins by KO in a maximum of 3 minutes.” – Turki Alalshikh.”

They ended their post with a question: “Will Mike Tyson accept the challenge?”
That’s not it. Jack Lombardi II had confirmed this back in November. He wrote on X, “Saudi billionaire Turki Alalshikh has made a staggering $700 million offer to Mike Tyson, proposing the prize if Tyson agrees to a rematch against Jake Paul and secures a knockout victory within three minutes. Would you tune in?”
We wonder what’s going to happen. After Tyson versus Paul, many speculated that the legendary boxer was only in it for the money. To support these speculations, fans discussed their pay. As per reports (not official reports by Netflix), Tyson was expected to make about $20 million and as per Paul’s own admission in a pre-fight press conference, he was going to make $40 million. In comparison, HE Turki Alalshikh’s offer is much bigger.

It seems the Saudi adviser and ‘The Problem Child’ don’t get along well. For instance, in October when the internet was talking about a potential Jake Paul vs KSI fight matchup, Alalshikh stated: “I think he doesn’t like me right now and hasn’t for the past two months. I’ll be honest, I like him as part of the younger generation, and he has a lot of fans. My kids are among them. But I think he needs to decide what he really wants.”
“If he wants to be a real boxer, he needs to take on big fights against boxers, not treat it like a show. That’s my opinion, because it’s damaging to boxing. I know he doesn’t like this, especially what I said about his last fight. I said it wasn’t boxing, and I’m not joking.
“If he wants to continue in this field and be part of Riyadh Season, he needs to fight real boxers. That’s my opinion. If he does that, I’ll support him.” In fact, when he was asked if he would support a fight between the two social media stars, he said, “No, I would never support something like that, even if it’s popular with people. I do boxing, not shows.”
But coming back to the new offer in discussion, there is a slight discrepancy in the authenticity of the offer. The truth behind this offer hasn’t been verified. So fans need to take it with a pinch of salt. But if it’s true, things surely look upbeat for Tyson, who could exact revenge on Paul, along with bagging a heavy paycheck. However, it also puts a question on the front. Why is HE Turki Alalshikh willing to do this?
Mike Tyson and HE Turki Alalshikh’s deepening connection…
For starters, the 43-year-old is an ardent boxing fan and is set on a mission to revive the sweet science’s glorious days. For that, he doesn’t want money in return; he wants to restore the glory and make it more delightful to watch. Here’s what Mike Tyson said about him:

“He just wants—he’s not looking to make money. There’s no way he’s looking to make money. There’s no way he’s looking to make money. But he’s just making boxing a better sport right now.”
What’s more? Fans are not aware, but HE Turki Alalshikh is also a huge fan and supporter of the ‘Baddest Man on Planet’. He also gave Tyson a call before the Paul fight and hyped him up. Tyson’s team recalled it: “His Excellency wished him the best and told him how proud of him he was and gave him a big pep talk.”
So, it seems the $700 million promise partly stems from HE Turki Alalshikh’s passion for boxing and making sure its sanctity is upheld, and partly because he appreciates Tyson. But it remains to be seen whether Tyson will entertain any such offer, as he had some health issues coming into the fight; The biggest of them being his age and an ulcer flare-up incident.
