In the sport of boxing, fighters sparring with each other to judge their boxing stature and to improve their game is very common. Every fighter goes through this process, often top-notch fighters face each other in the local gyms. Interestingly, a few years back, Garcia locked horns with the hard-hitting Romero, who trained and fought under Mayweather’s promotion. Back then the duo had a sparring session.
So now, when this video resurfaced, it caught fans’ attention because it paved way for many to draw a conclusion regarding the upcoming grudge match between Garcia and Davis. It is so because Davis already faced Romero last year and won the fight by knockout.
It was an easy win for the southpaw. He clearly played with Romero and finally dropped him on the canvas with a crisp left hook. So when fans saw Romero giving a tough time to Garcia in the clip, they were quick to draw a verdict for the upcoming fight. However, Garcia fans sidelined it by saying it was an old clip.
Let’s see how fans react to a sparring clip of Ryan Garcia vs Rolly Romero

RyRy early, but Rolly worked him out and got the better of it in the end. Just like Tank will work him out and stop him KO 10-12

Since the clip is old, it would not be wrong to say that Garcia certainly has improved a lot and it should not be the basis for coming to a conclusion for the upcoming fight.
