Jake Paul will step inside the squared circle for the first time since his defeat by Tommy Fury. On August 5, ‘The Problem Child’ will face MMA veteran; Nate Diaz. The bout between the two has received scrutiny and criticism. A section of the boxing world does not consider Paul a professional boxer as he has left questions unanswered after failing to win against a professional boxer.

It appears Paul’s credibility as a boxer in the eyes of the boxing world may not change anytime in the near future as he gears on to face another MMA fighter. However, Paul continues to be an advocate for the sport and his recent initiative is a reflection of the same.

Jake Paul’s new initiative to assist his “Boxing Bullies” NGO

In 2021, Jake Paul founded an NGO named, “Boxing Bullies,” which teaches youth the self-confidence to counter bullies by training in the sport. Paul’s NGO and his promotions, “Most Valuable Promotions,” has collaborated with “Gas Monkey Garage” to offer a giveaway to the fans. The giveaway includes ringside tickets to Paul’s upcoming fight against Nate Diaz and a Gas Monkey Garage customized 2023 Dodge Ram TRX; designed by Richard Rawlings. The application for the giveaway is open till July 20. On the monkey garage website, the applicant is supposed to give a monetary donation.

All the proceeds will be given to the “Boxing Bullies” NGO to support their altruistic endeavors. Reflecting on this initiative and collaboration, Paul stated, “Thank you to Gas Monkey Garage and Richard Rawlings for collaborating with us on this unique opportunity to celebrate our fans, while also combating bullying and empowering the youth in Dallas and across the U.S. through the sport of boxing.”

Jake Paul gets candid about being cyber bullied

There is an underlying reason behind Paul starting his own NGO which combats bullying. The Clevelander has been at both ends of bullying and understands it consequences on a teen or a child. To prevent bullying he started an NGO named, “Boxing Bullies”. In an interview he reflected upon being a bully himself and stated, “I was doing it because it made me feel better about myself because I was actually insecure, you know I guess at that time. And not confident in myself.”

It is safe to say that Paul repents being a bully. To correct his mistake, he took on this selfless initiative of curbing bullying through a sport that he loves. Many around the world consider boxing to be a welcome safe space to learn combat and tackle being browbeaten.
