“I’ve not spoken to Paris at all in three months. Not one word,” Tyson Fury told Dev Sahni, highlighting the struggles and sacrifices a boxer has to make. The British boxer put his family responsibilities on hold and went to Malta on a training camp to prepare himself for his high-voltage fight with Oleksandr Usyk. But the absence has affected his family, especially Paris Fury, who is at the helm of family affairs now.
Paris, who was absent from the first Usyk vs. Fury fight, visited Riyadh this time. She will be in the stands to support her husband. But despite finding herself amidst the limelight, she didn’t get the opportunity to talk to the former world champion. That happened even when they shared the same hall for the weigh-ins for Usyk vs. Fury 2.
The 35-year-old appeared in an interview with IFL TV, where she discussed all the difficulties and how she supported ‘The Gypsy King’s decision to stay away from the family in isolation. In the initial conversation, she admitted how Fury had adopted a different strategy of being tight-lipped and instead focused on the fight. In addition, she detailed her experience of almost meeting Fury but not sharing a word.

Paris revealed, “I saw him yesterday. It was the first time I saw him. We still haven’t spoken. I literally was across from him 10 feet, and like, we’ve just barely made eye contact, but I can see it. I think, in my heart, it’s paid off. The dedication that he’s got there. And that concentration, I can see it in his eyes that it’s nothing else matters other than this fight tomorrow night.”
For Paris Fury, the turmoil will end after the fight’s conclusion on December 21, and she could see the determination in Fury’s eyes. In the same conversation, she also discussed the decision and how it has affected the Fury family.

Paris Fury: difficult time for family after Tyson Fury left for Malta
Paris disclosed that Fury had made the call to stay away from family. She declared, “I just think he decided this on his own, and I had to support him in it. He didn’t want to be involved in family life. So, he’s cut himself off from us for the last few months, and he has put himself in a serious, serious condition. And he looks very, very determined.”
When asked about the decision and the effect on the family, she confessed it was a difficult phase. She continued, “It’s been very difficult. I can’t lie. I mean, I supported him in the decision. But it wasn’t the greatest thing to sit and not speak to your husband for a few, well, a long time actually. But I’m looking at him, and I can see him.”
