Fans watched with bated breath as two Super-Lightweights, Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis, went toe to toe against one another. It was a fight where both fighters had put everything they had, whether its reputation or money, on the line in Las Vegas. Prior to the fight, both boxers were embroiled in a heated exchange of words. Both fighters made claims for the fight, with Garcia claiming that he will be coming to take something from ‘Tank’ during their bout.
However, when the fight eventually took place, Garcia didn’t appear to be in his element at all. He was totally outclassed by Davis throughout the fight and was even knocked down by Davis during the second round of the fight. The fight reached its conclusion after Davis landed a powerful body shot on Garcia.
It initially looked like Davis had landed a shot on Garcia’s liver and hence left him unable to continue. However, recently a video of Ryan Garcia talking with a trainer came out revealing that it was Garcia’s rib that was hit instead of his liver.
