The dancer has found the perfect mixture where he is smoothly able to blend his groovy dance steps with the slickness of the sweet science. In 2018, he was recognized for the first time on social media, for dancing Frère Jacques at a McDonald’s.

Akamz has started a new trend on the internet, where he emulates Michael Jackson during his boxing training session. Well, this has caught the attention of quite some big names in boxing like Mauricio Sulaiman, the WBC President, and before him, even Muhammad Ali‘s daughter, Laila Ali. 

WBC President acknowledges the French dancer’s talent

Apart from being a social media star, Akamz is a full-fledged dancer. Recently, he even ended up being the runner-up of the Fusion Concept 2023, one of the best international hip-hop festivals. However, in the boxing world, he’s been gaining recognition widely for his Michael Jackson moves inside the boxing gym video.

So, the WBC President, Mauricio Sulaiman, shared his video on the X app, where he was clearly mesmerized by the dancer’s talent. He wrote, “So what is his #Boxing nickname?” Now there were many suggestions in the comment sections. Some said, “‘Sugar’ Jackson“, while one of them even suggested, “Smooth Criminal“.

So, it’s quite evident that every boxing fanatic is having a great time with this entertaining video. Laila Ali’s reaction to the video was also in the same spirit as the previous ones.

The moment Ali found out about the dancer, she instantly shared the video on her Instagram Account. She reshared his video on a post, where she stated that she couldn’t control laughing at the way it had been executed. Moreover, she even tuned things further by adding one of the most popular MJ songs, ‘Smooth Criminal’ in the background of the video.

The two-time Hall of Famer wrote in the caption, “Thanks for a good laugh guys! Too funny! I had to put some music to it!” Akamz, here, has made it a reality and that too with ease. To point out, Ali keeps on sharing such training regimes on her Instagram.
