Jake Paul has offered a helping hand to Mike Perry following their fight last weekend, which saw the YouTube star turned boxer beat Perry to a pulp en route to a sixth round stoppage victory. See, the thing is, after the loss, Conor McGregor, who became part owner of BKFC earlier this year, went on a rant about the fight and seemingly fired Perry, who is the face of the promotion.
While it’s unlikely that McGregor has the unilateral power to cast Perry out of the promotion, many are speculating all this could be a strategy to have a bare knuckle fight between the duo, especially since they have squared off once before in the UFC. Regardless, during an appearance in the BS w/Jake Paul, the influencer boxer seems to have offered Perry a new job at his sports betting company Betr.

Speaking about Perry’s power, which Paul said he expected to be substantial, ‘El Gallo’ brought up McGregor’s move to fire Perry right after the fight. Paul’s co-host and Logan Paul quickly expressed their thoughts about it, claiming it was “sad” and “horrible”. This prompted Paul to reveal his thoughts about Perry in the lead up to the fight.
“It was hard to talk s**t to him the whole-entire week because I thought he was hilarious”, Paul said while emphasizing the importance of promoting a fight with trash talk. ‘The Problem Child’ even brought up what the people were saying about their chemistry before the fight, stating, “everyone in the comments was saying ‘I think Jake and Mike are going to be lifelong friends’”.
Paul felt that their friendship could really flourish since their fight was over, adding, “but we have a proposition, actually”. Seeing Perry’s predicament with McGregor, Paul said, “We will hire you into Betr as a partnership and give you some sort of role”. While Jake Paul hasn’t settled on the role he will offer Perry, he seemed adamant about getting Perry on board his sports betting company. Meanwhile, Mike Perry himself has responded to McGregor firing him through social media.

It’s worth noting that on the eve of his fight against Jake Paul, Mike Perry held a press conference to announce the launch of his promotion company, Dirty Boxing Championship, which will have hybrid rules bouts that mix the striking arts of boxing with five-ounce gloves and limited ground-and-pound.

And McGregor, while attacking Paul and firing Perry, suggested Perry should go and work on his promotion instead. So, when a reporter probed Perry about McGregor’s comments in that regard, the face of BKFC said, “He doesn’t f**king have a promotion. Me and him are both owners of BKFC, so he can’t fire me”.

Despite this, McGregor once again responded to Perry’s statement in a now deleted tweet, stating, “Michael, you are not any owner in BKFC. Not an iota. You have the tiniest minute dot of a share in [Triller]. The social media video app. Which is promising, in fairness. But it’s a speckle you have. You hold nothing in [BKFC]. Not an iota. And trust me, you are out, bro”.
With that said, Mike Perry seems to be in a lot of trouble with regards to his place in BKFC, but only time will tell whether he is truly out or this thing will go to court. Meanwhile, the good news is, Jake Paul has generously offered Perry a place in his company. Do you think Perry should join Betr?
