Last week, Anthony Taylor, MMA fighter turned boxer, competed on the Misfits 007 card against YouTuber Salt Papi. Although Taylor was victorious, he was an underdog going into the bout. Many fans and other influencers had betted against him; including JiDion, an American YouTuber. Before the bout, Jidion and Taylor had an encounter wherein the two got into a discussion over who would be the victor in Taylor’s fight.

The discussion concluded with Taylor proposing a wager of $20,000 and Jidion was confident enough to accept it. However, Taylor emerged victorious in the bout and subsequently won the bet. Thereafter, in a recent Tweet, Taylor publicly demanded the money that JiDion agreed to pay up based on the outcome of the bet.

Taylor wasted no time and publicly called out JiDion to keep his word. He tweeted, Yo @Jidion6 where’s my 20k”

In the video, it is evident that Taylor was confident in himself to be the victor against Salt Papi. To the extent, he was willing to wager $20,000 and noticeably, he was the one who proposed it. After JiDion claimed that, “Salt Papi will beat that a*s,” Taylor responded by saying, “Put 20,000$ if he gonna whop my ass” The two shook hands after the proposal.

However, it has been a few days since the bout, and JiDion still hasn’t kept his side of the bargain. Will JiDion pay up? Only time can tell. For now, it appears that one can only sit back and watch the drama unfold.

Anthony Taylor recently called out David Haye

Taylor is an outspoken and is unapologetically himself. Before his fight against Salt Papi, he walked up to David Haye to set up a potential matchup. In a video posted by IFLTV, Taylor appears to be calling out Haye for a fight.

Haye was not inclined to this match-up and without giving much thought, he stated, “Defintely not”.  When asked about the reason for his reluctance to fight, Haye responded by explaining that his age is the reason for not being willing to compete again. Haye is 42 years old and last fought in the year 2018. It is highly unlikely that the former champion would come back to fight Taylor and he made that evident when he declined the offer.
