Wilder in ‘The Traitors’ premiered January 12
A handful of hours ago, the Tuscaloosa resident shared the clip on Instagram, urging his fans to watch the show. “Oh boy, oh boy, season 2 of the Traitors is about to be [fire emoji]. Tune in, and let’s see how @alancummingreally deals the cards on season 2 of The Traitors. You don’t want to miss it! On @Peacock,” wrote Wilder. The show is returning for a second season after a successful run the year before. But how does it work?

The plot of the show is simple. There are twenty-one contestants with three designated ‘traitors,’ and their aim is to get the remaining players, called the ‘faithful,’ eliminated over the weeks the show will run. If the traitor makes it to the end of the show, he or she will win. If the ‘faithful’ weed out all the ‘traitors,’ the prize money will be split between them. The viewers know who the traitors are. But the contestants obviously don’t. Wilder, as it turns out, is a ‘faithful.’ While Wilder indulges in some reality TV drama, what happened to his claim against retirement?
Deontay Wilder states his true intent
As Wilder lost the Parker fight, he also lost his chances of fighting Anthony Joshua as they had decided for March 3. However, now Joshua would go toe to toe with Francis Ngannou on the same date instead. Interestingly, some chatters in the boxing world suggested his appearance in the undercard of that fight scheduled for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. But his TV Show eliminates the chances of him fighting in the card. So, is Wilder retired?

According to Wilder, no! In an Instagram post after his last fight, the ‘Bronze Bomber’ cleared the air by claiming he would come back to the ring. “I don’t know what happened, to be honest. My timing was off, and I didn’t throw my punches. I didn’t let my hands go like I was supposed to…Sorry if I let anyone down, but we will be back though! That’s the thing about it, you know,” said Wilder.
