Both Jake Paul and Mike Perry have come a long way since they sparred a few years ago. While Paul has built Most Valuable Promotions and organized some lucrative events, Perry has established himself as a reputed bare-knuckle fighter, exiting the UFC. In light of Perry’s success, Paul thinks it is time Mike’s weaknesses are exposed to the public although Mike Tyson is scared!

Although BJ Flores, Jake Paul’s trainer, branded Mike Perry “tough as nail,” he claimed ‘The Problem Child’ had the better of Perry in every round. Based on his observation, Flores even predicted a KO victory for Paul in the first/second round of their upcoming fight. However, ‘Platinum,’ in his account, claimed he had Paul “up on the ropes” when they sparred.

In this connection, on being asked to weigh in on Perry’s trajectory since their sparring, Paul said, “Mike’s been on a terror. He’s in his prime, make no mistake. He’s undefeated in bare-knuckle, he’s beaten some legends. And that’s great, but, they’re not me.” In conjunction, Paul questioned the boxing skills of the former UFC fighters Perry faced in BKFC.

They don’t know how to box, they don’t have my power,” said Jake Paul, who himself has been largely criticized for squaring off against retired MMA fighters in boxing. In addition, Paul, who is breaking his tradition of facing older fighters, said, “So, Mike Perry saying he’s in his prime, you know he’s young, there’s no excuses after I knock him out.”

According to Paul, Perry cannot handle pressure. However, since Luke Rockhold, Eddie Alvarez, and Thiago Alves [fighters Perry has faced in BKFC] did not know “how to take him [Perry] away and pick him apart,” ‘Platinum’ had his victories. “So, that’s what I’m gonna show on Saturday. [I’ll be] exposing all of his weaknesses,” he concluded. But, what if Perry defeated Paul?

It’s not possible. So, I can’t even answer that question, I know I’m going to win with ease,” Jake Paul answered. Additionally, he mentioned that Mike Tyson was afraid of Paul losing to Perry too.

He [Mike Tyson] was concerned with me taking this fight. Like, what is Jake thinking? This guy Mike Perry is a killer. So, he has some concerns,” said Jake Paul. “But Tyson, my message to you is ‘Don’t worry, I’m going to put this guy to sleep. Mike is an appetizer and then you’re next,” he added positively.
