The Youtuber-turned-boxer, KSI, is all set to face the first pro-boxer of his career, ‘The Badass Billionaire’, Joe Fournier. The bout will take place on May 13th, and recently they got done with the 007 Open Workouts Livestream. And one of the footage from the event showed KSI performing some hazardous neck exercises. The fans were quick to point out how many wrestlers use this technique to warm up their muscles before a grappling session. But many viewers also pointed out the flaws in KSI’s form as ‘The Nightmare’ was doing it in a manner that could cause damage in the long run.

Now these exercises seemed quite similar to Mike Tyson‘s neck routines during his training. At the age of 18, he had a neck of 20 inches, but later during his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Tyson revealed how those neck exercises actually proved to be fatal for him as he pertained long-lasting damages because of it.

Boxing fans slammed the Youtuber for copying Mike Tyson, and then some even speculated that KSI is oblivious to the consequences that are attached to this dangerous neck routine. But KSI is determined to defeat Joe Fournier in his next bout and is ready to go to any lengths to do what his arch-nemesis, Jake Paul, couldn’t, that is, defeat a pro boxer in a fight. And recently, fans agreed that KSI looks prepped up to knock out Fournier.

Fans’ reactions to KSI performing his neck exercise

One of the fans, V4KS, pointed out that doing this exercise is utterly “pointless” for six months’ time, as athletes do it for many years just to get a minor result.

Another fan, Brig, commented on KSI’s wrong form and advised him about the correct way to do it.

A Twitter user diverted the topic in the direction where they stated that KSI was trying to copy 18-year-old Mike Tyson.

One more user stated that KSI doesn’t seem to actually know what he’s doing with those neck movements.

But not all the fans were bitter about him trying a new thing.
