Tony Bellew is the latest boxing star to react to Deontay Wilder’s bizarre video.

Wilder posted a video on his social media accusing Tyson Fury and his team of all sorts. And he didn’t stop there, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ even threw a shade at his former trainer and the referee.

This video has not gone down well in the boxing community, with several people saying he has the plot. Former cruiserweight world champion, Tony Bellew, is the latest boxer to react to it.

Speaking to iFL TV on YouTube, Bellew gave his opinion on the matter. He said, “It’s crazy. Absolute lunacy. For anyone to take that seriously, stop smoking that stuff.”

The outspoken scouser added, “He’s kept the yes-men around and he’s believing what they’re telling him. He’s now really embarrassed himself.”

Wilder was quiet for a long period after the second Fury fight. Despite all the rumors of Tyson Fury moving on to different opponents, he never said a word. However, out of nowhere, he dropped a video and made crazy accusations against Fury and his camp.

Tyson Fury is yet to react to it, but it is safe to say he will laugh it off.

Tony Bellew and his history with Deontay Wilder

Tony Bellew has had his fair share of back and forth with the former WBC world champion. The two have had an altercation while Bellew was giving an interview.

Bellew is also close to Anthony Joshua, and that creates a rift between Wilder and him. Despite this, no one can argue that his reaction has any bias because of his clash with Wilder.

We expect this reaction from Bellew, especially when we consider the other excuses that Wilder made for his loss. He even claimed they spiked his water before the fight.

To hear these things from a former champion is very surprising. When you consider this was his first statement after the fight, it is slightly embarrassing on his part. We will have to wait and see what happens next for Deontay Wilder, but a trilogy fight doesn’t look very likely soon.
