A Year After Giving Birth to Their Daughter, Caleb Plant’s Wife Jordan Plant Wins Gold in Powerlifting Competition

Caleb Plant is a popular name in boxing who has gone against the likes of Canelo Alvarez, David Benavidez, and Anthony Dirrell. He earned his moniker ‘Sweet Hands’ because of his precision punching style, helping him take down countless opponents. Plant previously held the IBF Super Middleweight title under his belt. Back in 2016, Mr. Sweet Hands proposed to his now-wife, Jordan Plant, after winning the bout against José Uzcátegui. The couple then tied the knot three years later. Jordan recently took to X, sharing her accomplishment in a powerlifting competition. According to her tweet – it was her first-ever attempt at a powerlifting event. Despite that, she brought home the gold. She further explained that the achievement came a year after the birth of her daughter. Jordan also expressed how rewarding it felt to compete against other remarkable women and win.

What’s more, she described her grueling training sessions in the tweet while thanking her friends and family. It’s a truly amazing feat from Jordan, given the fact that it was her first-ever try in a powerlifting competition. What’s even more remarkable is how Caleb and Jordan have become the perfect power couple in the boxing world.

Caleb Plant vs. Canelo Alvarez rematch might be in the talks

There is no doubt Plant is a rising superstar in the world of boxing. But the former IBF Super Middleweight champion has faced significant losses in his previous couple of fights. The first loss came against Canelo Alvarez, and the second came from his last fight against David Benavidez. However, the Vegas resident took those losses on the chin and moved forward.

Caleb is back making headlines after his altercation with Jermall Charlo and the infamous slap. According to an article from Marca, ‘Sweet Hands’ has hinted at a possible rematch with Alvarez. As per speculations, the rematch can be somewhere between May and September next year. And given the fact that the last time these two fighters met, it became Canelo’s most lucrative bout.
