Since her victory against Marciela Carnejo, Claressa Shields has picked a bone with Top Rank Boxing. Shields revealed that she wanted to witness the clash between Josh Taylor and Teofimo Lopez in person. But, it seems like she did not get what she wanted. And to show her disappointment at being unable to watch the fight in person, Shields took to Twitter to share her thoughts. She took a dig at Top Rank for denying her seats in the front row for the fight. Top Rank responded to Shields, Clarifying the misunderstanding. And sharing their apologies for the inconvenience caused to the ‘GWOAT.’

Even though Top Rank offered their apologies, it seems like this is an incident the reigning champion won’t forget. And, to show her support for Shields, the reigning undisputed featherweight champion, Amanda Serrano, has voiced out. Many fans joined Serrano in unison to support Shields.

Shields called out Top Rank and claimed that a world champion of her caliber might not be good enough to get complimentary tickets. She further revealed that she would be watching the fight on her TV in Florida.
