In a recent interview, under the shades of potential “click baiting”, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn spoke about the chances of Conor Benn facing Manny Pacquiao in his next fight in boxing. With a marvelous tease, the promoter spoke about “minor discussions” taking place regarding Conor Benn vs. Manny Pacquiao in the ring. In addition, in what he termed as “maybe I’m click-baiting”, Hearn said in an interview with Boxing King Media, “I would not be surprised to see Benn fight Pacquiao next.” While Pacquiao remains retired from pro boxing, Benn awaits the statements of BBBofC/UKAD investigations to resume his journey in the ring.

Following the circulation of the news, a fan is of the opinion that Hearn is desperately trying to recoup the millions he lost in the “Eubank fight”. In addition, looking at Pacquiao’s age and Benn’s current stance in boxing, they even condemned Hearn by branding his actions as “genuinely pathetic”. Similarly, that a 44-year-old Pacquiao will face a prime Benn facing difficulties since he failed drug tests made no sense to him.
