If asked to choose between facing former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson in the ring, or facing one of his Bengal tigers, most mortals will pick the latter. There is no denying that ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ is truly a formidable individual. And, it surely takes a gargantuan amount of courage and an equal amount of stupidity to get on his wrong side. In a rather intriguing turn of events, a man once pulled a gun out at Tyson during a comedy show.

Tyson was hosting his ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson‘ podcast, with co-host, DJ Whoo Kidd. Moreover, rapper and producer, Warren G, was a guest for the episode. During the podcast, Tyson was having a passionate conversation about the people of New York. He said, “No one’s crazier and nicer than the people in New York. But for some reason, they get violent for something.”

This was when Kidd asked him about the incident where a gun was pulled at him. Tyson responded by saying, “That did happen, that did happen.”

He even mentioned why he hugged his potential shooter. Tyson said, “I’m just happy he didn’t shoot the guy. If he wanted to shoot me, I could look into his eyes and see when someone wants to hurt me. I’ve seen people that wanted to hurt me.”

Tyson also mentioned that he was familiar with the look of people who wished to hurt him. And, that the person did not have the same look.

When Mike Tyson had a gun pulled at him

Most people would shudder at the thought of having a gun pulled on the. However, Mike Tyson managed to maintain remarkable composure while facing a potential shooter.

Tyson was watching a stand-up comedy show at a club in Los Angeles. This was when an audience member stopped the comedian and challenged Tyson to a fight. He even went on to brandish a gun, which caused a lot of people to move away.

‘Iron’ Mike on the other hand. remained calmly seated throughout the spectacle. Tyson spoke to the man and even went on to give him a hug.
