Mike Tyson, the former two-time heavyweight champion, recalled his infamous rematch against his rival Evander Holyfield and labeled the most controversial in-ring deed of his career as ‘the best thing’ he ever did.

This week Mike Tyson appeared with his old friend Blue Boy on his podcast to recall those amazing days of ups and downs that the duo lived through together in prison and on the streets.

While discussing, Blue Boy shared several interesting stories about Tyson. He admired ‘The Baddest Man on Planet’ and claimed that he watched the latter’s every single fight. Recalling Tyson’s bite scene, he cracked a joke about it.

It made Tyson laugh.

The 56-year-old appreciated the witty Blue Boy and added a more interesting drama.

“I bit that guy’s ear right um. And I had to pay a three million dollar fine for biting his ear but the f**k I took more than that more pictures of that people just want to take pictures of me biting their ears, that’s all people. You know these crazy people black, white take a picture biting Hhhhh… and listen that was the best thing I ever did”, Tyson said.

‘Iron’ Mike and Holyfield were one of the biggest names in the heavyweight division. The rivalry between the duo produced the most iconic fight in the heavyweight division. However, despite losing both bouts, Tyson became a bigger face.

In 1997, Tyson stepped inside the ring to seek redemption after losing in the first meet. Tyson’s name had already created enough buzz that every boxing fan’s eyes were set to enjoy the exciting contest. As expected, the fight started with intense energy. Tyson began throwing his combinations. He even succeeded in landing a few clean punches on Holyfield.

But things went wrong when bigger in size, Holyfield started manhandling him. This frustrated Tyson and he bit his ear.

Due to this, the referee disqualified Tyson, and the fight became infamous.
