“I am delighted to be making my debut on such a big night for British boxing. Both Amir and Kell are legends so to be on their undercard is amazing. Burton is my home and a place I love but Manchester holds a special place in my heart, so to start my journey in front of their fans is special.”
Clarke will look to move up the ranks quickly in order to follow the hype of an Olympic medalist entering the professional scene. The 30-year-old does have the skill set and experience to pull it off. However, the heavyweight division is full of experienced superstars.

Another Brit who has found success in the professional boxing scene is Joe Joyce. ‘Juggernaut’ won the silver medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016 and then turned pro shortly after. Now, at the age of 35, he is in title contention.
