‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’ Mike Tyson is undoubtedly the personification of the word ‘demigod’ in the world of boxing. Meanwhile, it can also be said that rapper, Marshall Mathers AKA Eminem, is considered a ‘demigod’ in the world of hip-hop. As one of the first Caucasians to cause a sonic boom in an industry that was, then, dominated by artists from the African American community, Eminem quickly earned the respect of his hip-hop counterparts and music aficionados. A recently resurfaced picture showed a moment when these two demigods met. And fans just couldn’t keep calm.

Eminem was a guest on the Hotboxin’ podcast, hosted by the champ himself, in the year 2020. The episode saw him talk about his childhood, his career, and his inspirations, with a special emphasis on his, then laetest album, Music to be Murdered By.

During the episode, Tyson was vocal about his admiration for Eminem. He also addressed the rapper’s struggles, saying, “Everything you got was, f*cking not even given to you. You f*cking slaved for it. You know what I mean? You’re the only white guy that knows what it’s like to be a ni**a.”
