“10K to Prove You Hate Someone”: Fans Go Wild as Jermall Charlo Places $10,000 Bet on Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia

The current WBC world middleweight champion Jermall Charl0 predicted the winner of Ryan Garcia vs. Gervonta Davis, with less than five days away from the fight, during a live session on Instagram, Charlo disclosed who he will be supporting. Charllo, who has been inactive since his last fight against Juan Macias Montiel in 2021, is as excited as anybody to witness Garcia vs. Davis.

Arguably with two of the world’s current best lightweights, Garcia vs. Davis is one of the biggest fights in contemporary boxing. Both the fighters in question are undefeated and in their prime. In addition, while 82.61% of Garcia’s wins come via knockout, Davis has won 92.86% of his fights via knockout in the ring. Thus, in his latest Instagram live session, Jermall Charlo placed a bet of $10,000 on the fighter he believes has the potential to win.

Taking to Instagram, during a live session with his fans, Jermall Charlo, who lost confidence in Davis, disclosed that he was willing to bet $10,000 on Ryan Garcia upsetting Gervonta Davis. The middleweight champion believes that against all the odds, Garcia will emerge victorious handing Davis his first defeat in pro boxing. Hence, Charlo said, “I got ten thousand on Ryan.” After Michael Benson from talkSPORT shared the brief clip, several fans reacted to it. Following, Charlo’s assertion, @Sam92029024 said, “10k to prove you hate someone. Wild.”

Meanwhile, @NoeZuniga77 pointed out that Charlo “always bets on the underdogs.” They added, “he finna win hella money if it happens.”

However, @JhusLeftarm felt Charlo was going through “mental health issues”. “Ryan went through mental health issues which he’s going through right now is why Jermall is picking him,” they added.

According to @GringorichRocky, “Davis will have the edge.” They believe because of the weight cut and rehydration clause Garcia will be weakened.
