However, embarrassingly enough, the name spelled on his chair happened to be wrong as it stated, “Connor,” instead of the usual “Conor.” This blunder was pointed out by fans who made it a point to let their amusing reactions be evident. The boxing event is arguably one of the biggest events of the year in the sport. To see such a mishap, and that too of a star like McGregor, was unexpected, to say the least. By extension, it was bound to get a vehement response, and that is exactly what happened. Here are a few fan reactions reflecting on the same. One fan was quick to point out that the name was spelt wrong.

One fan could not seem to fathom the fact that ‘Notorious’, has been in the public limelight for more than a decade at this point, yet his name is not being spelled correctly at such a prestigious event.

Along similar lines, another fan found that the name was not spelled correctly and speculated what could be the next consequence.

Speaking of speculations, one fan wondered if McGregor would make his return to the ring and get signed by Frank Warren.

Last but not least, one fan felt sorry for Warren for having to sit next to Eddie Hearn and McGregor.
