Blessed with Tyson’s wisdom, Ngannou fought ‘The Gypsy King’ with his heart and soul. While showcasing of his power, the former UFC heavyweight champion also demonstrated patience, an understanding of reach, and laudable quickness. As a result, he shocked the world when he knocked down Fury with an accurate and powerful lead hook in the third round. In this context, following the end of the contest, Mike Tyson publicly boasted about his pupil.

While Ed Garner scored the match in Ngannou’s favor, Alan Krebs and Juan Carlos Pelayo gave the victory to ‘The Gypsy King’. However, despite the disappointment, Mike Tyson is still happy about the way Ngannou fought Fury for 10 3-minute rounds. As a result, he took to Instagram and lauded the Cameroonian-French mixed martial artist:

“The true champ of the evening @francisngannou. So proud [of] how you performed,” wrote Mike Tyson. Following this post by ‘Kid Dynamite’ who is open to fighting John Fury, several people congratulated Francis.
Appreciating Ngannou’s performance, one wrote, “I think he should box full-time. With a little more experience, he can walk through the heavyweight class.”
According to one fan, “He [Ngannou] was robbed man he performed excellently.”
As per another, if Ngannou is given one more year, “he will make Fury retire.”

Meanwhile, one lauded Mike Tyson for the way he trained Ngannou. “Great job coaching Champ,” they said.
Finally, one lauded how Ngannou performed against Fury “in his 1st boxing match.” “Congratulations Francis,” they added.
