Boxing legend Mike Tyson has been an icon on and off the ring, garnering the love and attention of millions of fans across the world. There are only a few who have matched the fame and legacy Iron Mike garnered throughout his career, and even after it.

Therefore, it was no surprise when NBA legend Dennis Rodman once compared ‘Kid Dynamite’ to some of the greatest personalities in the history of mankind. He first praised Tyson for his compassion towards his kids and family and stated that he wanted to live his life like the former heavyweight champion.

However, Tyson would then go on to claim that his mentor Cus D’Amato taught him how to self-preserve. He stated that Amato turned him into a megalomaniac by constantly feeding his ego and telling him to put himself above everyone else.
