Brittney Griner Called “Uneducated” and Slammed for Branding Trans Athletes’ Ban From Competing With Biological Women in Sports as a “Crime”

Moreover, she also stated that it is “a crime” to not allow trans athletes to compete in women’s sports.

“Everyone deserves the right to play. Everyone deserves the right to come here and sit in these seats and feel safe and not feel that there’s a threat and that they can’t be who they are. Honestly, I think it’s a crime to separate someone for any reason against that legislation is trying to be passed,” she said.

Although this was a strong stance by Griner, it was not supported by everyone. Meanwhile, Jake Paul‘s trainer Benjamin Flores had a different opinion. He also suggested some solutions on how this issue can be solved.

Flores took to Twitter and did not mince his words when it came to Griner. He stated that the WNBA player was uneducated on the topic and claimed that it was ignorant to make such claims. He also called for a new league for trans athletes where they could compete alone.

“She’s uneducated. Trans can’t compete against women and ruin their hopes n dreams they have worked their entire lives for. It’s ignorant to even say a man should compete against a woman in athletic events. Trans should have their own league. I’m sure other Trans would support,” he wrote.

Jake Paul’s trainer’s comments on transgender athletes in women’s sports have once again ignited the ongoing debate surrounding inclusivity and fair competition.
