On the 5th of August at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Jake Paul and Nate Diaz would lock horns. While Nate Diaz, who fought his last in the UFC against Tony Ferguson, would make his debut in boxing, Paul would fight his eighth bout in the ring after the loss to Tommy Fury. At the press conference, Paul claimed the “fight is do or die” and brand the same as “war“. While Paul stated he would “leave it all on the line“, Nate Diaz declared he is ready to showcase his boxing skills.

In fact, the 38-year-old announced he is regularly running, hitting mitts, and sparring with professional boxers. In his opinion, he is “more sparring than probably anybody“, in the sport. Likewise, Diaz, letting Paul think “he has good cardio“, recently agreed to fight ‘The Problem Child’ for 10 rounds in the ring. Just when Paul thought “10 rounds it is“, the former UFC champion declared he was good with only 8 rounds.

I guess he has good cardio,” Paul said. However, Diaz soon changed his mind and tweeted about him being good with only 8 rounds against Paul inside the boxing ring. “I’m good wit 8,” he announced.

Undoubtedly, Diaz’s latest assertion has led Paul to think the former is scared. Hence. ‘The Problem Child’ took to Instagram and in one of his stories asked, “So you ask for 10 rounds then get scared when I accept?” Anyway, Diaz has not yet replied to Paul who feels he is “ready for war.” In Paul’s opinion, Diaz wants to enter boxing so he can “make a bunch of money” and “knock out the YouTuber kid.” While Diaz wants to make a statement against Paul, the latter assures he will not back down on the 5th of August.
