Fight fans couldn’t stop themselves but compare an MMA fighter taking down his opponent in a boxing match to the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley fight.

The boxing match between former UFC champion Tyron Woodley and YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul was a huge cross-sport fight between two massively popular entities. Many fight fans had their reservations about the nature of the fight but one thing is true, everyone enjoyed the matchup.

Now, another fight that had both of the sports mixing inside the squared circle has caught the internet’s attention and MMA fans can’t get enough of it. At Global Legion FC 20 on FITE Tv an alleged MMA fighter in yellow shorts went for the takedown and slammed his opponent in red shorts, hard into the mat.

With the referee just coming up to separate the two as the former was going for ground and pound.

This hilarious event stuck a chord with fight fans and they reacted to it hilariously:

“He said f*ck that we’re doing MMA”

“This is what @Benaskren should have done to Jake Paul (or Logan, I don’t really know who is who and I don’t care)”

“Did he get disqualified for that?😳”

“Legit what Woodley should have done to Paul.”

“If you ever wanted to know what would happen if a boxer and an mma fighter had a real fight, here’s your answer”

“And that’s my friend is the reason why boxers don’t step in the octagon with MMAs.”

Since his second loss to Jake Paul, the second one being via a thunderous KO, Woodley hasn’t returned to the octagon. And it seems like the 39-year-old doesn’t have any plans to do the same anytime soon.

What Is Tyron Woodley up to now?

Since his KO loss to Paul, ‘The Chosen One’ has preferred to remain low-key. However, in a recent interview, the former UFC welterweight champion revealed that he has partaken a new gig.

In a recent interview, Woodley told MMA Junkie that he would be working as a judge at UFC‘s competitor Professional Fighters League. In its PFL Challenger series 1.
