Jake Paul shocked the combat sports world as he improved his pro record to 3-0 with a sensational victory over Ben Askren. ‘The Problem Child’ needed only one round to put away Askren with a perfectly placed right hand. ‘Funky’ Ben hit the canvas in a brutal fashion and the referee deemed him unfit to continue despite standing up.

Following the statement performance, Triller Fight Club co-owner Snoop Dogg was rather expressive from the commentary booth. Chiefly, UFC President Dana White had publically wagered $1 million that Ben Askren would come out on top against Paul. Snoop Dogg stood by ‘The Problem Child’, and now he was looking to collect.

Jake Paul has now opened several new avenues for himself, following an impressive KO win over a former MMA fighter. ‘The Problem Child’ was favored to win, however, the MMA community largely believed that he wouldn’t have what it took against a real fighter. Now, Paul will surely be doubling down on his attempt to secure another massive fight.

What’s next for Jake Paul?

With the direction Triller Fight Club seems to be going in, Jake Paul can certainly rely on many more such match-ups. A name that immediately sticks out is Dillon Danis, who has been a thorn in Paul’s side. Danis took to social media immediately after Paul’s victory and made sure to call out Jake Paul.

In fact, Dillon Danis was supposed to be Jake Paul’s original opponent before Ben Askren secured the fight. However, the fight fell through and both men claimed the other was ducking them. Chiefly, there’s some bad blood that’s been brewing, and securing a Danis vs Paul fight seems like the next logical step.

What’s more, Jake Paul will undoubtedly also turn his attention towards Conor McGregor for the ultimate boxing showcase. Paul relentlessly called out the Irishman after his last win, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he did so again. It remains to be seen whether Conor McGregor will be inclined to take up the bout.
