Borna Coric was named the ATP Star of Tomorrow after being the youngest player in the Top 100. Recently, the 23-year-old Croatian lost his chance to win yet another ATP 500 title at the St. Petersburg Open, against the Russian Andrey Rublev 7-6(5), 6-4. Now, the Croatian has spoken about dealing with the pressure that he often has to deal with.
Coric feels no pressure
A few years after turning pro in 2013, Coric was all set to engrave his name in the tennis world. But no glory comes without a price. With injuries and setbacks meeting him at every turn, the next Djokovic confessed to never carrying any additional pressure on himself.

Coric said, “But still, you get used to hearing that you are the best, that you are the next Novak or the next Federer – then my expectations have become unrealistic thinking I was going to be Top 10 quickly, but it doesn’t work that way.”
As far as the future is concerned, if Coric continues to put in the hard work, fans can expect to see the best of him on the court very soon.
