IFBB Pro Emmanuel Alvarez regularly poses physique updates on social media. A physique update by the bodybuilder is nothing surprising for the fans as he frequently posts updates. However, The Cuban Missile’s recent update had some concerning news. The IFBB Pro explained that he was getting ready for heart surgery. 

The update left fans concerned as the bodybuilding influencer didn’t reveal anything about the surgery previously. Alvarez also likes posting his stats during these updates. This update also started as a regular one, where he wrote it like he was preparing for his next show. However, this time it’s not going to be on the bodybuilding stage.

The IFBB Pro left fans in anticipation

The bodybuilder uploaded a video of himself posing inside a gym locker room. “Physique update: 7 days out from open heart surgery… YES, OPEN HEART SURGERY,” Alvarez wrote. However, despite dropping a proverbial bomb, Alvarez didn’t explain further. Instead, he left fans in nervous anticipation with the following statement.

“I’ll post a video on Monday explaining more about it,” the Orlando Pro 2023 competitor wrote. The bodybuilding influencer didn’t look worse for wear in the update. He had no problems holding poses and didn’t seem short of breath. However, Emmanuel Alvarez revealed that he has dialed down the PEDs and training volume in the last two months.

 “Currently sitting at 255lbs first thing in the morning. I’ve been just on TRT dose for 2 months now, deloading training and food to 50%,” revealed the pro bodybuilder. Bodybuilding fans showed their support as they waited patiently to learn more about the bodybuilder’s heart condition.

The bodybuilding community had a unanimous message

The bodybuilding community wished Emmanuel Alvarez the best of luck for his upcoming surgery and hoped for a speedy recovery. “Prayers that the surgery goes well brother,” wrote one fan. “Wishing you a safe surgery and a super fast recovery brother,” wrote a second fan. “Praying for your successful and speedy recovery. You got this!” encouraged a third fan.

“D**m dude! Good luck and a speedy recovery. I know hospital stays are shitty. If you need anything, let me know,” wrote a fan who didn’t expect such a major development. “God bless you, bro. Wishing you a safe and healthy recovery,” commented a fan.
