Zane and the “Mind and Body Connection”
In his book Mind and Body Connection, he suggests a technique called body visualization. He asks to make a mental image of the desired body. Visualization helps in achieving the coveted symmetrical body. For Zane, the mind creates the right speech and action. The mind creates the life we want.
In the Somatic Primer podcast, the bodybuilder informed the interviewer that he meditates before a workout. Arnold Schwarzenegger, according to Zane, was also very focused, but he did not meditate. Zane likes to practice thoughtfulness while isolating his muscles. He suggests trainers not talk between sets or watch television. Mr. World’s insightful technique prevents injuries and improves the quality of performance. He also talks about “negative body metaphors” in the podcast.
