Cohen has 1.1 M followers on Instagram, where she shares her knowledge about health and proper exercising. Today, she shared another Instagram reel that debunked a huge myth most people believe in.

Stefi Cohen breaks the silence about weak core

The powerlifting champion shared an Instagram video today where she talks about weak core and back pain. She starts the video by saying, “ A weak core isn’t the reason your back hurts. Here’s why.” The doctor and physiotherapist then go on to explain the reason “To draw a relationship between the two is an overly simplistic view of a complex and multifactorial story.” As per her, there is no such research that identifies the link between weakness and pain.

She captioned the post saying, “If you’ve been told the reason for your back pain is your “weak core” you’ve been lied to, and here’s why. Watch the whole thing and let’s argue in the comments.” Stefi further says in the video, “ When you’re hurt or in pain, which exercises you do matters less than simply doing something and giving it time”.

Stefi debunked the myth about weakness and pain, but she also concluded the video by giving another announcement. The fitness champion said in-depth information about back pain can be found in her book, ‘Back In Motion.’ Her book was released in 2021 and will give all information to the readers about fitness and proper exercising.
