In his bodybuilding career, Flex Wheeler had to deal with a lot of challenges yet he could never win a Mr. Olympia title. Even after retiring from his profession, the bodybuilder is going through excessive extents of physical and mental health challenges. With having undergone 40 surgeries for his rare kidney disease, Flex Wheeler recently talked about the most recent one he had to take which did not go as planned.

Flex Wheeler’s recent post showed his unease with explaining the pain he is going through, and thus while talking to his fans he continuously apologized for putting a burden on them by narrating his story. The bodybuilder shared his struggles with the world, grabbing the utmost prayers and well-wishes from the fans all around.

Flex Wheeler’s emotional message for his fans

Flex Wheeler confessed how he had a positive and hopeful outlook initially toward his latest surgery. It did not only require his mental investment but financial as well, draining the star emotionally. The bodybuilder talked about how the whole process went extremely downhill and instead of his hopes coming true, the outcomes of the surgery became a nightmare for him.

Furthermore, the bodybuilder also expressed how devasted he felt. He stated, “I struggle to articulate the extent of my desolation. The constant, gnawing pain in my neck, shoulder, leg, and back has become an unrelenting thief, robbing me of any semblance of happiness and joy.” Then he briefly talked about how every day feels like a battle to him, making it difficult to go through daily tasks.

He ended with a note that although he does not want to trouble anyone, even so, his pain compels him to talk about it. And thus, when fans and the community got to hear about it, they could not stop themselves from rushing to Wheeler’s post, to show him support and send him heartfelt wishes.

The entire bodybuilding community rushes to pray for Flex Wheeler’s recovery

Bodybuilding beast, Lee Priest stated, “Stray strong brother praying for you and your family to get through this.” Phil Heath also prayed for his health and expressed his desire for him to always lead a life of peace, “Praying for you strength and peace Brother”. Kali Muscle boldly commented about being thoroughly inspired by him, adding, “You’re the strongest man I know! Like I always tell you face to face. I know no human that has endured what you have endured and still motivating and inspiring people!”

Richard Gaspari also made his wishes heard by saying, “Flex, I’m praying for you for a speedy recovery.” And above all, the entire fitness community and his fans made it crystal clear that he is not alone in this journey. They said, “You’re not alone my brother and it’s never burdensome. Remember that the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Because of his kidney disease, Flex Wheeler had to undergo extensive medical treatments that have kept his life in a position where he repeatedly needed medical attention. Now that he has undergone his very recent surgery which wasn’t as successful as he needed it to be, his fans along with the whole bodybuilding community are coming forward to send Flex Wheeler their heartfelt wishes and support during these tough times.
