After clinching the prestigious title, Mitchell Hooper is currently processing his emotions and savoring his victory. He says, “It’s very hard for me to digest these things. It’s really hard to put into words how I feel. Really, shock is how I feel.” He made an appearance in one of Will Tennyson’s YouTube videos, where he trained with the bodybuilder and shared the tricks that helped him secure the title of the World’s Strongest Man.
Will Tennyson accepted the challenge to train with the World’s Strongest Man and recently shared a video documenting their training session. They began by tackling the overhead pressure exercise, with Mitchell lifting 1000 pounds and advising Tennyson to start with a 700 pounds rack. To this Tennyson humorously replies, “700? The pancakes didn’t give me that much energy!” However, as the bodybuilder reaches 500 pounds, he becomes completely drained.
Despite being taught about the stance of how it was possible to go about it successfully, Tennyson seems to be sliding in between with the 500 pounds weight on his shoulders. To this Hooper says, “Today you’re gonna s**ck at everything.” Will replies, “Oh, I know, it’s just gonna be how it goes. I’m having a fun time s*****g. I feel like my potential for hernia is like…” However, after several trials, he finally succeeds with the 500 pounds bar and Hooper appreciates him saying, “It’s actually not too bad.”

When Tennyson is asked about he feels after working out, he says, “I’m surviving. I’m very honored that you think that I can do that because that’s 500.” As the training progressed, for safety reasons, The Moose continued lifting and walking until 1000 pounds, while Will was only instructed to lift 770 pounds. Will tried to keep up with Hooper’s challenging sets.
Mitchell Hooper’s perspective and Will Tennyson’s dedication
Hooper was extremely impressed by the effort made by Tennyson to train and learn from him. He was especially in awe of one of his particular performances. Hooper says, “The log press, that was very impressive.” However, he also adds, “If you even just had like 10 more pounds of fat on your boobs that’s like more space now to sit a log on everything gets easier.”
